My name is David and I am the founder of the Follow Your Hero Foundation and am the craftsman of the products featured and sold. Inspired by personal experiences that helped me overcome struggles, my goal is to do the same for others. The Follow Your Hero Foundation is focused on supporting those with disabilities by donating 50% of proceeds to The Malinois Foundation.
In my craft, I intentionally use repurposed wood and embrace a natural, imperfect style in crafting these goods. As you’ll see, some of these products have bubbles, holes, or other imperfections which makes each product unique. This approach reflects the foundation’s overarching mission: to emphasize the worth of every individual, celebrate new beginnings, and encourage community awareness of the beauty and potential found in each person. The focus is on celebrating individuality and appreciating unique characteristics through the artistic expression of recycled materials. I’d love to share more of my story with you!
